Inspirational Texts (Attack on Titan Film Poster)

 

This is an unofficial  fan-made poster for the announced live action film adaption of Attack on Titan (Shineki no Krojin.) The poster was based on the original poster for the anime. I think that even though the poster was made by a fan it is of such good quality and looks like an official poster so much that several people online actually believed that it was real.

In the anime, mankind has been driven to near extinction by the titans (giant creatures who devour humans seemingly without reason.) The remnants of the human population live inside a city surrounded by enormous walls until one day, the Colossal titan appears and breaks down the wall. Eren Jaeger and his foster sister Mikasa watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows to murder and annihilate every single titan and take revenge for all of mankind.

This is a brilliant example of a movie poster that tells you the basic story, features the main character and the biggest threat, features a tagline, a fake release date and names at the bottom just like a real poster would have. If I could make a movie poster half of the quality of this one then I would be extremely pleased.

Who am I kidding? I could never create a poster to this standard but its nice to have something to strive for isn't it?
